Part of our philosophy is that any diet is easier to maintain if your meals taste delicious. Herbs and spices are a great way to do that. When stocking up on spice mixes, check for added ingredients like wheat/corn starch or soy. If possible, choose unsalted mixes and season to your own taste.
Some spices (like aniseed, vanilla and cinnamon) can be used to give your meals a sweet flavor without adding sugars to it.
