Although they were part of our natural diet, honey (or similar natural sugars like maple syrup or coconut aminos) are really just another sugar to your body. Earning them allows you to use a little of these natural sugars during cooking, to help you make your healthy meals as delicious as they can be.

Allowing a little of something is always a slippery slope. This allowance is for cooking only (meals, soups, sauces, etc.). Any sweet treats based on honey or other natural sugars are just that: sweet treats. Don’t eat them unless you spend an earned cheat on them.
